- We’ll order our respective breakfasts when we arrive and divi-up the bill equally at the end, if diners are in agreement. It seems to work quite nicely for most of you parish gastronauts and it’s a lot less work for me. Last time breakfast worked out at c. £11.50 (including a tip) per head and will probably be in the same ball park this time.
- Please let me know if you will be coming along, no later than Sunday, 16th June so that I can confirm the final numbers with Hartley’s in advance of the breakfast.
- If you want to order and pay separately please let me know when you reply.
- It’s been a long time since we had a good natter and I’m sure that there’s plenty to catch up on, so I’ll look forward to seeing everybody who’s interested, arraigned around the breakfast table soon.
- As always, if there’s anybody you think might enjoy a bit of a nosh and natter with the boys, then please invite them along but kindly let me know.

You are warmly invited to join Bishop Ruth Worsley and Safe Families For Children in celebrating their one year anniversary coming alongside local isolated families in Somerset.
At Safe Families we know that every child deserves to thrive and we recognise that to do this children need to be loved and secure in their own family. The problem is that when families are isolated and struggling their children can feel upset and afraid. Facing life alone is hard, and when families feel like there is no one there to help it’s a scary place to be. This is why Safe Families partner with over 800 churches in the UK to deliver a family focused transformation programme.
Do join us on Monday 24th June at St Mary’s Church, Huish Episcopi, TA10 9QR for refreshments including puddings from 7.00 p.m. and a service of celebration starting at 7.30 p.m.
Bishop Ruth, our keynote speaker will be inspiring us, the programme director of Safe Families South and South West will communicate local stories and vision, and Rev Jess Pitman will share what it’s like to be a volunteer for Safe Families connecting with isolated families bringing them hope.
This invitation is extended to all church leaders, members and interested parties. For catering purposes please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org. Dawn can also be contacted if you are a church in South Somerset or Mendip and would like a short presentation about Safe Families in your church, churches together or community meetings. More information on the charity can be found at www.safefamiliesforchildren.com.
We look forward to seeing you there,
Bishop Ruth and The Safe Families Team, Somerset
